2017 SGV Govt. Polytechnic College, Bharatpur has been recognized at SCI (Science Citation Indexing) List. There are three International SCI Publications published with the affiliation of SGV Govt. Polytechnic College, Bharatpur. The college has also been recognized at Euro Sci Con, 17^th Edition of International Conference on Emerging Trends in Materials Science and Nanotechnology, held from April 26-27, 2018 in Rome, Italy.

2014 Establishment of “Smart Class Room” initiated for ICT based learning.

2010 3 year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Self Finance Scheme) introduced.
